Abstract The correlation of female sexual dysfunction (FSD) with the degree glycemic control, duration and complications diabetic disease cardiovascular risk factors are not so clear. aim this study was to assess prevalence FSD in a sample females type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), identify involved its pathogenesis. We enrolled 81 who have T2DM. administered function index (FSFI), self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) depression (SDS) questionnaires. also estimated anthropometric parameters, glyco-metabolic comorbidities, autonomic nervous system assessment, some adipocytokines ongoing therapy. 87% participants were affected by FSD. There evidence an inverse between total score FSFI questionnaire mean values ??of HbA 1c previous years. homeostasis model assessment insulin resistance Participants higher ( p = 0.043) ischemic heart scored less on 0.005 0.010, respectively).
